terms
The rules for using unreadable.gg, the site and the API. By using either, you agree to them.
Last changed October 11, 2026.
the service
unreadable.gg decompiles Luau bytecode. It's free, and it's provided as it is: there's no promise that it's always available, that it can read every file, or that its output is right. Every result comes with a verdict on how far to trust it.
your files
Only decompile files you're allowed to: your own, or ones whose owner lets you. You're responsible for the files you send and for what you do with the result, including respecting other people's copyright and licences. We claim no rights to your files or to the source we give back. What happens to them is on the privacy page.
fair use
Stay within the limits. Don't try to get around them, for example by spreading requests over many addresses, and don't attack, probe or overload the service. We may block traffic that does.
changes
We may change the service, its limits or these terms, or stop the service, at any time. If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them.
liability
As far as the law allows, we're not liable for any loss or damage from using the service or its output. Nothing here limits rights the law doesn't let us limit.
